Simply amazing best describes the result. Short in numbers for Womens and Mens and with SWR coming to the rescue in a combo, it was another clean sweep in all Divisions. Well done to all paddlers.
As at 7:00am Saturday 2nd May, this regatta is has been CANCELLED due to weather conditions. It has been rescheduled for JULY 18 & 19 and so has everyone's name. If you cant attend please let me know ASAP.
Bowlo Dinner & Dance
Pete Ball and his band are playing at the Bowlo June 12th. Dinner will kick off around 6ish. We must support the club that supports us. Please let Deirdre know that you are coming for bistro dinner for catering purposes.

We train on our majestic river every week, passing each other like ships in the night... SO on Sunday 26th April lets get together with the Crescent Hd surf boat crews & The Kempsey Macleay River Rats for a fun day on the river. Hope to have a boat swap, maybe some fun races followed by a bbq and drinks at the RSL Bowlo. Perhaps we might challenge them to a boat race at the Bowlo? Lots of people = a fun day so please come along.
At this stage start is 10:00am with lunch about 1:00pm. Organiser is Jan Jones. please show your attendance on the Sessions page for catering purposes.
Also, the Saturday training session will be transferred to Sunday commencing at 8:30 to allow for Anzac Day.

Australian Masters Games
As we dont have enough paddlers to target major regattas after CNY, people have expressed interest in the above. So now this will be the ONLY other major regatta of the year in October.
Dragon Boating is now confirmed for the 9th and 10th with the 8th being a practice day. You will therefore need to arrive on the 7th and depart on the 11th or thereafter.
From the draw of 2013 Divs include Masters, Grand Masters and Great Grand Masters in 10s & 20s boats over 2 days of 250m racing. EOI's are now being accepted on the Regatta Page, the sooner we have teams the sooner accommodation can be booked. Please note that if you leave it too late to decide, this will be another no-go regatta and this chance may never happpen again. EOI's close FEB 28TH.

Is Thursday 12th at the Bowlo after paddling. Any agenda items to Pam Madden. All members welcome, light food supplied.
As from 17th Jan, 2 x G.4 sessions of 45mins wil be offered. ALL paddlers are welcome to attend with the expectation that you paddle to your own skill/fitness level. The first will begin usual time of 7:30am.
The New Year
Hope everyone made the most of the break and had a a great xmas and new year. Indications on the Sessions page show a high degree of keeness - great to see, and now its time to put it all together!
The Club has another, Shirley Baines has been selected in the Senior C (60+) Australian Dragon Boat Team. CongRATS to her and all the effort that she has applied. Shirley will join Mignon in Canada next year....55 more and we will all be Auroras!
5 Gold a Silver and a Bronze...throw in Mignon winning selection to the Auroras and it was a bingo weekend for a bunch of fit-hot paddlers.
Presso & Xmas Party
Will be held on Saturday Dec 13 at the establishment of Janette and Tai at 12 Wheeldons Access, Turners Flat (Janette mob:0401056514). Cost is $15 P/P. Music by Off-Shore. Hungi-style dinner. Theme is aquatic. Everyone is reqd to bring a plate, cutley, mug and/or glass and a chair. The 'Bar Butler" will be in operation this year, for both men and women!, if you wish to partake bring a bottle of your best to share and a shot glass!...Please show your intention to attend on the REGATTA Page. All members and guests are welcome.
The Club showed good sportsmanship in letting Port win the Womens and Coffs win the Mens...but lets not get too generous with our christmas presents!
are CNY, State Titles and Aus Titles 2015. So that teams, travel and accommodation can be organised, your commitment is reqd by NOVEMBER 1st on the Regatta page. This will be the closing date for EOI's. Also, to qualify for the World Club Titles in Adelaide 2016, you must attend the Aus Titles in WA !!

If you direct deposit any funds into our Holiday Coast bank account, you must also send me an email with the date, amount and what the $$$ are for. The club cannot reconcile its finances if all that is shown in the account is "Cash Deposit" without a follow up email !
The annual home hospice fashion parade is on again on Saturday the 1st November at the Anglican Church hall at 2pm. Some of our paddlers are also models, so come along and enjoy the day..more info see Vivian
Has again been brought up by the management of the Bowling club on Saturdays mornings. You must park your car in the parking area of the club then get the boat out without the gum flapping. We cannot afford to jeopodise our association with the Bowlo due to your indiscretions.
Bus has been organised and will leave Busways at 7:30am. The cost p/p will be debated at the GM.
This Saturday 11:00, we will be paddling in the River Fest with many other water craft. A training session will be at 11:00 followed by a muster at the Railway Bridge. We will then paddle down to Riverside Park with all the other paddlers on the Macleay as part of the festival. This is great exposure for the club as we may pick up some new paddlers so we need both boats full and all hands on deck - especially males.
Thu 25th at the Bowlo after 5:30 paddle session. All members are welcome, light food supplied.
Stuarts Pt Sabbatical
Is the weekend of August 2nd and 3rd. We will be taking our boat for a paddle and possibly a fish. Please book your own accommodation at the caravan park. EOI is on Regatta page. Trevor's annual horseshoe toss is on Sunday 10:00.
Notice is hereby given of our 7th Annual General meeting. It will be held on Wednesday 23rd July at 6pm sharp in the meeting room of Kempsey Macleay RSL Club. The dining room is available for those who want dinner afterwards - Please let Deirdre know for catering purposes.
To celebrate the new season we will be holding a sign up, come and try and picnic morning Saturday 12th July. There will be a later start for our distance paddle (8-9am) then from 9am a barbeque and some paddling fun with a 6 person sweepless challenge. If anyone is having problems with online rego, a laptop will be available for your renewals (you will need you id, password and bank details)
